Comments: I went to Dr. Reed for an ankle replacement vs ankle fusion consult. I'd seen 3 surgeons prior to seeing him, all of whom offered opposing opinions. Unlike knee & hip replacements one doesn't hear often of ankle replacements, so I've been cautious about going forward with this type of surgery & I tried to do my due diligence researching info.
Dr. Reed was communicative, extremely knowledgeable, & not rushed.I liked his approach. I left the consult confident I'd found the right surgeon to turn my chronically pained ankle over to for either procedure.
I spoke w/ 2 previous patients who had ankle replacements. These convos were game changers for my decision. Both people expressed only positive results. I got off the phone feeling nervously hopeful, giddy even, by the possibility that I, too, could get back to being active & pain-free. I called the office immediately to begin the process to replace my ankle.
I'm happy I did so. Dr. Reed is excellent.
